Pennine Lancashire Community Farm is inviting local residents to come together for a special Open Day celebrating nature, community and wellbeing.
Taking place on Wednesday 23 September, from 11am to 3pm, the free event will be held at the Eco Community Hub at March Street Community Garden Site in Burnley. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, discover the work of the community farm and spend time in a welcoming green space.
The Open Day offers something for everyone, with a programme of activities designed to inspire creativity, encourage learning and promote wellbeing.
Visitors can try outdoor yoga, explore their creative side with felting and peg loom workshops delivered by Mountain Croft Fleece, or learn new skills during a phone photography session with Emma Holt. There will also be wellbeing activities, an outdoor cooking demonstration and a chance to explore the gardens on a guided tour.
Nature lovers are invited to help plant the farmβs bluebell woods, contributing to the development of a greener and more biodiverse environment for the community. Further activities are also planned, with more details to be announced.
Pennine Lancashire Community Farm has long provided opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to learn, grow and develop through engaging with green spaces.
